In the registry file above, change all occurences of [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\\ to [HKEY_USERS\\Default\\ and save the file. Import the registry file and afterwards, unload the registry hive of the Default User. From this point on, all new users (in fact, all users who needs a new profile on this system) will get the desktop icons you&#8217;ve set.<\/p>\n<p>Hint: If you create a directory with one of the ClassIDs as &#8220;extension&#8221; it will become available to you in for instance in your Documents folder.
